Delos is a beautiful island with ancient ruins all around! A great archeological site with history in every rock. Museum has free entry for paid tour groups. It's beautiful with original pieces excavated from the island.

Museum is a must visit while you are on Delos. Original finds, including the lions from the terrace facing the Sacred Lake are there. Many of the frescoes that once decorated the houses will shed light on the life of the island and the owners of the houses.

Delos!!! There where Leto gave birth to the twins! Artemis and Apollo!!! Leto or Letho i.e. forgetfulness. Letho (the darkness) that gave birth to the twilight, Moon, Artemis and the dazzling Light, Sun, Apollo!!!
In Ancient Greece it was the most important island. The alliance of Delos where the representatives of the city-states met in the sanctuary of Apollo for their expeditions against the enemies!

Great museum to understand the history of Delos. The actual lions are inside the museum for everyone to see. The museum is included in price of the archeological site ticket.
