We love this retreat. We missed out on one yoga because they closed early for a staff party. We are so glad that they treat the staff so well. No wonder everyone is so nice and accommodating! And man, the food is excellent. We will be back!

The Wild Rice Retreat is nestled among tall evergreens on the shore of Lake Superior. It offers classes for self development/awareness, yoga, and many opportunities to connect with nature, whether actively or passively. The accommodations are tasteful, thoughtful, serene. The food is delicious, and if you have a sensitivity or allergy, you'll have delicious options to choose from. The staff is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a stay here. Wild Rice Retreat does it again! Rarely do you travel and feel as comfortable as you would in your own home, my Nest was so cozy! It’s so peaceful on the shores of Lake Superior in the winter. The global menu, delicious every meal. The staff gracious and responsive. Gavin embodied hospitality, a real gem. Sydney holds her yoga sessions with authenticity and grace.
