If the quality of service makes or breaks your holiday, pick this hotel. There’s great service and then there is splendid - Opal was truly splendid. The staff were thoughtful, kind, accommodating and friendly, making the effort to keep guests feeling more comfortable and well taken care of. And all that on a weekend when they were fully sold out, and there were several travel disruptions all around the country from severe snowstorms! The service was excellent! All the staff we encountered were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a prime location, so we were able to walk everywhere. For those with children, there are parks within walking distance. The beach is beautiful and clean. The view from our room was ok but the room itself was decent. Hotel was very clean!
