Exceptional stay in a prime location. The hotel enjoys an outstanding location just minutes from the JR Nara train station and Aeon Supermarket, surrounded by shops and restaurants in a safe area. The staff were highly professional and attentive. The hot spring facilities were excellent, complemented by thoughtful touches such as complimentary ice cream and evening drinks. Minor train noise was the only drawback. Overall, a refined and highly satisfying stay.

I normally don't care about hotels so I don't review them but I really love this hotel because it's the best R&R spot. This is a very clean and cosy hybrid traditional-modern Japanese hotel with a calm environment (lots of sitting spaces and even a manga collection) and kind staff members, featuring tatami mats, no shoes (slippers and socks provided) and traditional onsen and outdoor onsen. The price is reasonable and I had a wonderful stay. It's also the perfect spot for a pig like me because

Located just across JR Nara station. I stayed here for the marathon weekend and the experience was great. Unlike regular hotels, they are more like a Japanese inns so you put the shoes in a locker and walk around with tabi socks. They have large hot bathes for both male and female, but no tattoo allowed with no exception so be careful. A nice refreshing hotel if you are looking for something good.

What a wonderful experience! Check in was quick, staff were always ready to respond to questions and provide guidance. The hotel was immaculate. The baths were varied and elegant. The treats were the proverbial cherry on top- they had Yakult and pops available through the day. There was a very beloved set of massage chairs as well- they were in excellent condition, but there were always people in it no matter the time. We had such a lovely time at Onyado Nono Nara. The breakfast was tasty and well made with local and seasonal dishes. The women’s onsen was spacious, with a really cool indoor/ outdoor layout. The location is across the street from JR Nara station (4 stars because the trains can be a little loud). Beds are comfy and rooms are good size. What really stood out to me was the service. Our rooms were meticulously cleaned every day with fresh linens and towels. The staff deep clean the onsen every day
