My experience to all mothers out there who are breastfeeding and looking for a good hotel in Almaty. I visited Almaty while I was in the breastfeeding phase, where I must preserve/store my breast milk to take for my baby back home. As it is well known, hotel rooms do not have freezer in them. I am so thankful and great full for Mark and Assem for their help in that matter; specially Mark, not only has he helped me, but also provided me with solutions to the problem. My first visit to Kazakhstan in early October — I chose Mercure for the first three nights for its convenient location and clean, hygienic look. The interior beautifully blends creativity and tradition, with local patterns, photos, and ornaments throughout the lobby, restaurant, and rooms. It’s even more impressive in person than in photos — a true work of art. The room condition was excellent and very clean. Breakfast wasn’t extensive but of good quality.
