Our stay at the lodge was not what we expected. We asked to have 2 rooms next to each other, which they confirmed via booking.com, but we ended up staying in houses opposite each other. We accepted this, but it was not what we asked for. Sad, because based on the amount of empty houses next to each other that we could see, this was definitally possible! I guess they didn't really want to bother. At the house we stayed at there was no internet. The house opposite our house and the restaurant and bar area did! We reported this multiple times, but the only reply we ever got was that they would check it. I guess it was checked, but definitally not fixed. The breakfast was very basic and not much appreciated by our son. The baguette they offered was hard as a rock so we stuck to toast and a freshly baked egg. The overall experience with the staff was that they were friendly, but not quite warm or welcoming. A big contrast with all the other places we stayed at during our roadtrip. Maybe the experience is better during the high season. Update before we checked out: still no internet (3 days in a row) - breakfast magically doubled in size (they now had fried rice, pancakes, pork, ...). After breakfast (around 9:00) we asked our son to bring all his belonings to our room so we could pack the bags. Turns out they were already cleaning his room at 9:30... We didn't actually checked out yet! We found this quite rude.
