Lake Land is beautiful place. Its close by to memory beach, where you can surf with your whole family, at least now in January, swim and get great food. Also the Sunova surfboard factory is just around the corner.

This lakeland was such a dreamland! I randomly ended up in this area to break up a longer drive up into the mountains, & I ended up EXTENDING my stay for over a week. It was exactly what I was looking for. There is a beautiful jungle walk or fun scooter drive to the cutest beach, that was clean & not too crowded or touristy - but still had a fun & lively feel. You pass a precious elephant sanctuary along the way and are really immersed into the jungle. The location was amazing to go exploring o

This was such a special place to stay and I already can’t wait to come back! The lake (which you can swim in & the host has kindly left a SUP free to use) is right in front of the bedroom. I was staying during low season and when it was raining Martin (awesome host) paddled over to deliver coffee in the rain - I don’t think you could find a better host! Martin communicated everything really well and was super helpful with ideas of what to do in the area. Very clean, comfortable and nicely deco
