Exceptional stay! Matilda (the owner) was so welcoming and even came to meet us when we got lost, helping with our bags and making us feel right at home. Her husband kindly guided us too. The guest house is in a great location for exploring Gjirokastër’s old town. Breakfast, freshly prepared by Matilda’s sweet mom, was absolutely delicious which was served on the terrace with a beautiful view. Our one-night stay was perfectly clean, comfortable, and full of genuine hospitality. Highly recommende

The hospitality at Kore Guest House was a true 11/10 – absolutely outstanding and the best I've experienced. My room was lovely and comfortable, providing a perfect place to rest. The location is also fantastic, just a short walk from both the beautiful old town and the castle. I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming stay in Gjirokastra.

This is seriously a ten star guest house! The owner is so lovely and helpful, giving us recommendations in town and what tourist traps to avoid. The rooms are clean, cute and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight overlooking the stunning mountains, and the food was honestly incredible. Please book here, I couldn't recommend it enough.
