I have enjoyed staying in this hostel. Especially because of the location. The vibe of the hostel was calm, there were some students that did not yet have an apartment in Kaunas that were staying at the hostel (ofcourse this will be different if you are staying during the holidays). However, there was no reception. This is not a big problem, but it feels a bit less welcome and safe. Normal hostel in a good location in Kaunas. Great location. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers (if I didn't miss any while I was there), so sometimes you need to wait. There is a kitchen you can use. Bed wasn't that comfortable, but for the price it was fine.

NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN Update: The owner implying that I am the type of client they do not want is absurd. When I privately messaged the owner about the situation, they told me "that's just what happens, sometimes there are bad guests and good guests, that is how life is." Was harassed by the other guests because I was alone as a woman and they were all men. It was super creepy and disgusting. I ended up canceling my booking and moving somewhere else.
