Karibu Inn’s location is perfect for someone visiting Zanzibar for the first time, especially if you want to stay in the center. It is located conveniently close to all areas worthy of visiting like the Old Fort and Forodhani Gardens. The rooms are good for the price, and serves the purpose very well as somewhere to get some rest after a long day touring the Island. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay there. I would recommend giving this plase a try.

I slep in the female dormitory. Not luxory, basic services, perfect position. For the ones that don't have big needs of comforts is perfect. They also have a locker where they can keep your values if you don't feel confortable leaving them in the dormitory. Nice staff

Karibu inn is located at forodhani, stone town, a 10 minutes walk from the center Behind the national Bank of commerce. It offers bed and breakfast and it's one of the cheapest in the area at about 35,000 tzs a night or 13 dollars a night... Situated in a nice corner, amazing staffs... You might not get a very high quality service but be sure to feel at home. And normally you shouldn't expect too much for paying so little. Nice place though I stayed 2nights and be sure to drop your mosquito nets
