This was my second stay at Island View Lodging. It is simply the perfect spot to call home for a Lake Superior vacation. Only a mile from downtown Bayfield, the location is perfect. The property is beautiful with access to the lake and lovely seating in the yard to watch boats pass or to have a campfire. The room is beautiful and well appointed. It is comfortable from start to finish. The deck is a perfect location for early morning tea or an afternoon cocktail. The view is spectacular. As you c

Perfect location on the shore of Lake Superior! Very comfortable & quiet. This lodging is only 1 mile from Bayfield. The hosts were so friendly & kind & their attention to detail & decor was amazing. I enjoyed the Grand Tour Apostle Island Cruise & the ferry to Madeline Island to explore there. Hiking to several waterfalls near the lodging was fun with the gorgeous Fall colors Oct. 9-16.
