The hotel is in a good location and it is easy to reach by tram. It is 40 minutes from the airport by public transport. The room was very warm, we were never cold during the cold winter nights. The breakfast is hearty and they use high-quality ingredients. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available all day, and the dinner is also good quality. There is a sauna in the hotel, which is good, but it could be in a more private place, separate from the gym. The fire place is the hall is super cozy.

Our stay at Home Hotel Gabelshus was truly wonderful. The check-in process was warm and personal, we even received a handwritten postcard welcoming me, which gave me such a heartfelt feeling. The hotel itself has a cozy and natural atmosphere, especially with its beautiful wood-burning fireplace that made the place feel very homey. Two staff members made a particularly positive impression on us: the girl who helped us during check-in and the one who handled our check-out. Unfortunately, I don’t
