The entrance can scare you a little bit as you enter the hostel. But don't worry inside of the building things get better. It's a hostel so do not expect the quality of a hotel. Reception is really helpful and kind. It has an excellent location without doubt and price is really acceptable.

Great place to rest when sight seeing, or even to spend a few days calling it home. Clean rooms, super friendly staff. Very cozy common area and café. A bit quiet for a hostel, but very enjoyable.

Where: Ace Hostel, Rio de Janeiro What: An affordable hostel in Rio How was it: Well, it's a hostel after all, but it's also the most affordable way to visit Rio. Ask yourself how much time you will actually spend inside the hostel, and if the answer is just to sleep - then this place is perfect !
