Stayed at Kempinski already several times before. I want to send a special thanks to Lady in Red Eva and concierge Sky and Kaikai. They did an outstanding job to help me getting my suitcase "repaired" at Rimowa shop while I had to attend a business meeting. You really made my day. Wheneber I'll be again in Shanghai, there is no other option than staying at Grand Kempinski again. Everything is just perfect.

This is a really fine hotel with great views of The Bund and only a quick metro ride away from the heart of Shanghai. I recieved amazingly attentive service from all the hotel staff. If your room includes lounge access then you are in for a real treat and it's not something they make a big deal of on their website. However, there is an a la carte breakfast (buffet downstairs gets pretty busy so having somewhere else to go is great), lunch (again a la carte. I recommend the quessadillas if you n
