The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Good enough to rest after a long day. Not luxury, but better than expected for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful, but services are limited. No breakfast and very basic amenities. Perfect spot! Just a short walk to East Nanjing Road, The Bund, and metro stations. Super convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

The location was good and I stayed there solo, but it was a terrible experience if you're staying there with Japanese sensibilities. There was a shower in the toilet, the electricity didn't work properly, and the toilet, shower, sink, and other plumbing areas were not what you would call clean. When you flush the toilet, there was a strange noise. The staff were kind enough to clean my bed and provide water each day, but it was a really good experience.
