This hostel is strange. I wouldn't call it a family hostel. It definitely wants to be a party hostel, but it's not really that either. If you're expecting a family homestay then it's definitely not that. They do offer a family dinner at 6.30pm for 89k which is great value and a good way to meet people. The hostel is huge so the dinner sits about 30+ people. They have two pool tables and after the family meal they have a DJ. The cocktails are 250k which is way overpriced for Vietnam. They do h

Da Lat Family hostel is a pretty good hostel overall. Very convenient for anything you need- booking tours, motorbike, buses, etc. Food and drinks are nicely priced and are decent. The pub crawl happens every night which is great to meet people. There’s lots of common areas to hang out, however the rooftop and pool could definitely use some updating- could be really nice spaces for chilling but seemed like people didn’t want to because it felt a bit rundown and not maintained.
