You have to stay. It's beautiful a big piece of nz history . Food was lovely but fish and chips alittle over cooked. Would still go back if ever in south Island again

We spent the first night of 2026 at the Brydone. It was fabulous and the service was first rate. We stayed in a heritage room which was spacious and luxurious, just the ticket after cycling. The food was delicious too.

Fabulous venue for our large classic car group event held over Labour weekend. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, the service from friendly and super helpful staff was excellent. The team catered for 250 of us with a delicious and plentiful buffet. Excellent venue for group occasions, highly recommend.
