This is a nice little hotel very well located - close to the old town but without being caught up in the crazy crowds in high season, and also convenient for the beach. Very nice and helpful staff

Fantastic stay at Carpe Diem! Lovely small hotel with great rooms and a fantastic atmosphere. The service received from staff was superb with everyone on the property being very engaging and happy to offer tips for how to spend your time in Paraty. The highlight of the experience were the breakfast and afternoon teas which had great coffee and cakes served in the lovely pool/ garden setting by the friendly team.

We had a great stay at Carpe Diem in Paraty! The staff were so helpful and kind - they arranged some trips and helped with things. The breakfast was delicious! And the afternoon tea cakes were too. The location was great - just outside the busy town Centre but not too far to get there. Paraty is a beautiful town! Can recommend staying at Carpe Diem. Seize the day in Paraty!
