I am head over heels in love with this little gem! The house was built in 1899 and has preserved much of its Victorian charm including exquisite hardwood floors, antique furnishings, wallpapered parlour, and -- here's probably the best part -- six secret passageways (!) hidden behind bookcases located throughout the house. There are no TVs anywhere in Ashby House. Instead, guests are encouraged to peruse the thousands of books at our disposal, play board games, or simply relax in the well-appoi

We adored this accommodation and loved staying here. Robin was so welcoming and friendly. Kelly is an amazing cook and super helpful with places to visit each day. The day we checked out we got invited back for Thanksgiving dinner, a first for us and it was amazing. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for something special and different.

We stayed in the Gustav room. It was very comfortable as you can see from the photos. We had a parking space that is only a minute walk around the corner which was convenient. The breakfast was great as was the conversations with the interesting guests as well. We will be back !
