I had a great experience visiting the Museu da Água in Lisbon, a unique and often overlooked museum that offers a fascinating look into the history of the city’s water supply system. Located in a beautifully preserved 19th-century pumping station, the museum features massive steam-powered machines and iron structures that once played a vital role in bringing clean water to Lisbon. The exhibition is well-organized and easy to follow, offering a mix of historical context and engineering marvels. O

Super interesting to visit and read about. If you go above the waterfall you can see in to the aqueduct. Wish so much you could walk in it! Free entry on first Sunday of yurt month

For 2 euros (if you are 65 +) it's great. Very educational for 9 to 15 yr Olds and gives you a great time line on Lisbon's development. Neat setting in an old water building. Doesn't take long to go through it.

It is not one of the city's most popular tourist attractions, but it is a very interesting place. You will learn about the history of water treatment in Lisbon and the region and see gigantic equipment used in the mid-20th century.

Nice small museum. Some good history about water and how it was historically supplied to Lisbon. The stem pump is interesting to view as well. It's a small the location is a little out of the way and parking by car isn't great. Overall good though.
