What an enjoyable county museum. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, the museum displays countless artifacts over several buildings. We were there in October so the tour was by appointment (easily arranged with a phone call). Our guide, a lifelong Shell Lake resident, was knowledgeable and unstinting with her time.
