Vizcaya is pure magic, a stunning 1916 Italian Renaissance style estate turned National Historic Landmark. The waterfront mansion feels like stepping into old-world Europe with its ornate rooms, antique furnishings, and bay views, but the real star is the 10-acre formal gardens: lush, manicured, romantic, with fountains, orchids, hidden paths, and peacocks strutting around. This is a fairly small museum, perfect for spending a few hours during your tour. The museum itself isn’t too interesting, but the architecture and the garden is stunningly beautiful. The garden is probably where you could spend most of your time relaxing and people watching.

Not sure if it was a coincidence, but there were a few photoshoots happening during our visit. Some crews were playing loud music so it felt a bit disruptive.

The mansion was built in the 1910s as a winter home for businessman James Deering. The architecture and gardens are gorgeous, like stepping into old Europe. Fun fact: there's a stone barge built right in front of the villa that protects it from waves and storm damage. It looks like a floating sculpture! The whole estate is beautifully maintained. Perfect spot for photos and learning about Miami's history.

A beautiful experience. Well renound for the beauty, you may see professional photo shoots and IG shoots in progress. Most guest were kind in letting others view areas they wished. The historical markers were informative and the location is close to the farmers market.
