Wonderful attraction and heritage place that is managed by Saudi Heritage Commission. The visitor center staff was helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming.
A must to visit if you’re in the region and want to learn about it, its history and see old ancient rock inscriptions.

Wardah and her colleagues were amazing. They went above and beyond their job to make sure I was taken care of. I was stuck without a taxi and they did everything to make sure I had a ride back to Hail. Wardah was very knowledgable about the site.
The actual UNESCO site is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. To see the ancient rock insciptions that go back to as far as 10,000 years ago and compare them to the more “recent” ones that are only 3,000 years old was definitely fascinati

Unfortunately I was on my way there, following Google maps GPS from AlUla, and it brought me down a modern highway that dead-ended in the middle of the desert. I was driving a Toyota Yaris so didn't take the risk of following the dirt track and getting stuck.
