I had the best tour guides of the ruins. Two random cute dogs ran up to me and accompanied me throughout the ruins, they even showed me places I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to find in the ruins. It was a 10/10 experience walking throughout these ancient ruins with these guides, the atmosphere was unreal.

Magical caves with a picturesque view from the top of mesmerizing natural beauty. The caves have a long history dating back. The tour is well guided. Be sure to wear good trelling shoes and be prepared for steep climbes. Must visit location on your bucket list when you visit Georgia🇬🇪.

beautiful and unique place! The old city carved into the wall is absolutely stunning, full of charm and history. The views from the top are breathtaking, and the atmosphere feels peaceful and authentic.

There’s also an option for wine tasting for an extra 5 lari — totally worth it! The staff were friendly and spoke English, which made everything easy to navigate.

I came here 7 months pregnant, and while the walk up was a bit challenging, it was definitely worth the effort. Highly recommend vis

One of the most interesting and historic places you can travel to in Georgia. This mountain-side carved town was inhabited up until around 1800. The unique culture, wine making and traditions of this place is truly one to learn about. Entry is a little pricey, 15 lari/person or 20 lari/person with a guided wine tasting. Parking is free outside the gates. I would plan at least 2-3 hours to comfortably explore this place
