Came here early in the morning, pretty chill and peaceful here. Surprisingly quite many runners in this area.

3rd Nov 2025 Monday night (Japan Culture Day) After days of experiencing Japanese 文化祭 Tonight, I decided to take a walk alone around Nara Park. It was quiet, beautiful and calming. Althought the sudden screams from fans startled me but it also reassures me that I'm not alone in the park. The deers are watching over me. Even Kiko-Ji and Todai-Ji area looks like a different realm as it is normally packed in the day.
Do experience it yourself at night too ! Autumn night walk is lovely !

Free to enter. I rode an ebike here and had a whole 15 minutes for myself at the gazebo. Most tourists walk around the 1st park with rhe deers so it's more quiet and peaceful here. Great place to rest and hide from the summer heat.

We came in June and there were no people (30°C weather🌡️). There was an ancient guardian deer🦌very calm and sweet welcoming the visitors. She let us touch her. Love this place! *There's a vending machine at the entrance if you're visiting on a hot summer day.🧊

Visited on 6 Jan. The pond was drained for cleaning since December and will be back during spring. But still nice against the blue sky
