A beautiful introduction to Guatemalan crafts and textiles! It was only 40 quetzales to visit and had a well-produced digital guide to introduce each artefact. Family-owned museum in excellent condition. Highly recommend.

I have traveled to many international destinations and visited countless museums, large and small. This was one of the finest local museums I’ve experienced! Very informative and Beautifully curated! A large selection of fine traditional Guatemalan crafts is also available for sale. It was clear that a lot of care went into the space and the accompanying PDF guide was so thorough that it made the experience more interactive. A must visit in Antigua!

Beautiful place. High value for the money. A gem o history within a colonial treasure, Antigua Guatemala. I really enjoyed the guided tour, the story behind every piece. Cool place to get away from the crowds and indulge yourself in the Mayan culture. The owners are vey kind and knowledgeable. If you want to take away a piece of valuable culture, you can also buy high quality, exclusive handcrafts in the shop. Highly recommended.

One of the most delightful spaces in all of Antigua. Their collection is breathtaking and you feel like spending some good money, they have the best curatorship in town. Loved it!

This is an uncurated collection of some attractive votive/ceremony manikins, masks, and crafted weavings.
There are no descriptions or object pedigrees. Many did not seem local (to my untrained eye.)
This is not a museum and it’s describing itself as such is commercial advertising and seems to be in bad faith.
This is more a “shiny objects” collection presumably moved from a collector’s lining room wall, and should appeal to anyone looking for such.
It was a pleasant and pretty five minutes.
