Fort Antoine is definitely worth the detour during your visit or stay in Monaco. If you happen to be visiting during summer then you might be able to catch a show as well. The setting is truly phenomenal and the remarkable quality of the events will bring you closer to the region of Provence and the Principality itself. Brilliant viewpoint over Monaco. I believe the Fort is sometimes used for theatre so may not always be accessible.

However, if it is, it is an excellent spot for photos looking back at Monaco and its harbour. I would recommend coming here both during the day and at night to see Monaco lit up.

Once was a military fort and now an open-air theater, Fort Antoine is located at the northeastern tip of Le Rocher. Enjoy a warm summer evening incredible performances under a starry sky. There is room for around 350 spectators and all performances are in French and free to the public (although you must book a seat first). We recommend that you arrive early to be able to enjoy the view of the French Riviera coastline that stretches all the way to Italy.
