The Grand Egyptian Museum

Honesty, very modern and impressive however it was busy!! We tried to beat the rush but it’s just too popular right now. Think cafe style, museum-gallery, up-scale class that tells a story. We planned to spend two hours but stayed 5. Buy tickets online in advance. Enjoy!

The Grand Egyptian Museum is shaping up to be one of the most impressive cultural spaces anywhere, and visiting it feels like stepping into a new chapter of how Egypt tells its own story. The architecture alone is stunning—vast, modern, and filled with light—creating a sense of anticipation as you move through its enormous halls. Even in its current, partially open state, the displays are beautifully curated, giving you room to breathe, observe, and appreciate the craftsmanship of ancient Egypt
