Tarnim Magic Garden, also known as the Secret Buddha Garden, is a serene sculpture park located high in the hills of Koh Samui. Created in 1976 by retired durian farmer Nim Thongsuk, the garden features dozens of moss-covered statues depicting Buddhist deities, animals, and mythological figures set against a lush jungle backdrop with a small waterfall.

100 baht entry fee per person. Free parking close by.

Visited the Tarmin & Magic Garden and what a beautifully delightful experience it was. Everywhere you look, charming little statues peek through the greenery, creating a magical atmosphere. The garden is wonderfully maintained and truly a sight to behold. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

A calming place in the forest at the top of a mountain with a cool fresh water river and small waterfall surrounded by status and sculptures. We rode our scooters up and some of the roads were very steep so make sure your transport can make it up. 100 Bhat per entry to see the garden. There's a small shop with coffee and cold drinks as well as souvenirs. There's also toilets that are clean and tidy. The garden is not wheelchair accessible unfortunately. We went early arriving around 9:15am and w

Tarnim Magic Garden is a lovely place to visit and culturally very interesting. The sculptures and setting create a calm, almost mystical atmosphere, and I genuinely enjoyed spending time there.

However, the experience was unfortunately affected by seeing elephants tied up nearby, swaying back and forth. That part was difficult to witness and took away from what could otherwise have been a peaceful and meaningful visit.
