We had such a great experience at the Stumbras museum & distillery. We came in close to closing, and despite this, our host Vidmante took the time to walk us through the distillery's history and their various liquors. She was very knowledgeable and so kind, and our visit was definitely a highlight of our trip to Kaunas!

We had such an incredible experience at Strumbas. Despite our group not being large enough people for a formal tasting (we knew this going in and we went on a weekday in the middle of winter), Vidmante spent an hour with us telling us about the history and giving us samples of some of the 80 different alcohols Strumbas distills. She’s worked at the company for over 20 years and is deeply knowledgeable of the historical significance and flavor palettes of the alcohols.
