I did a spot of shopping in Manchester last week and gave myself enough time for lunchtime mass at the lovely Hidden Gem. I was last here two years ago when a good friend's daughter was singing for a school Advent service. I don't recall the "hidden" access to Mulberry St being so "dodgy" but it just adds to the discovery of this gem of a church when you chance upon it and enter such a glorious space.
