As so often with churches of this vintage (opened in 1968), a relatively plain and functional exterior - in this case, a brown brick box - hides a stunning interior featuring ceramic panels, including the magnificent reredos, by Robert Brumby and dalle de verre abstract stained glass windows tucked between the fins of brickwork. It was Grade II listed in 2007 and is well worth stepping inside.
