Amazing! Hike trails are an amazing workout, adventure, and recommended to disconnect from everything. Do not hike alone if you are new to it, there are mountain lions.

I got a day pass from the Patagonia state park down the road; not sure if that counted as a permit. Very narrow road to get yo the horse trailer parking lot and trailhead.
