"HIS MAJESTY LATE KING BIRENDRA" Visited Shree Sadan inside the Narayanhiti Palace complex yesterday and it was a deeply moving experience. Unlike the main palace's grand state rooms, this three-story bungalow feels like a 'time capsule' of the late King Birendra’s private life. Seeing the simple bedrooms, the late Prince Nirajan's study with his stickers still on the wall, and the family's modest living quarters gives a very human perspective to the monarchy.
