Beautifull open-air church

This building dates back to the late 19th century and was donated by the former President of the Republic, Don Gregorio Pacheco. Until 1864, there was no institution housing the mentally ill, who had to be treated as ordinary patients, left to charity or imprisoned. Its expansion is also thanks to the family. Doña Corina Pacheco and Gregorio Pacheco Jr., who worked alongside Jaime Mendoza, Adolfo Costa, and others, increasing the number of wards and gardens, which allowed for the classification
