Rose Valley is one of several valleys just to the east of Goreme where you can hike through lunar like landscape with unique rock and land formations including the famous Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia. You will see numerous carved rooms, old homes and churches some of which are very impressive. We particularly enjoyed the Cross (also called Crusader) Church.

Cappadocia is truly a breathtaking destination in Turkey. The natural landscape is unique and stunning, with valleys, fairy chimneys, and rock formations you won’t find anywhere else. All of Cappadocia is simply fantastic. Hire a guide to take you around everywhere. Once in a lifetime, you have to see these amazingly beautiful places.

The natural scenery is fantastic combined with the history of the rock dwellings we were blown away. Hiked an AllTrails circuit by hooking up from Kaya Campground maybe 6 miles all in. Besides the $10 orange juice (which we enjoyed) there was nothing bad about this trip. The trail got pretty slippery after the Thunderstorm but we loved it.

We did a 2h hike in the rose valley. Beautiful place. There is an immense church on the way that worth to be visited. The 3 cross church is nice as well. The landscape simply beautiful l.

Bring good shoes the path is slippery sometimes due to the dust. As well as cash as there is a bar (with WC) half way where you can get refreshments.

We did the hike with a guide from our hotel. There is a lot of path to follow, it can be complicated if you don't know your way.
