A nice little garden-museum. Tortoises and fruitbats are kept which you can fees. Entry fee was 180 SCR/person that you pay after the guided visit. The guide is a nice young lady, Hilka Esther, who's very informative and energetic. She explains details of the island, the garden's animals, and cultivation of vanilla, aloe vera, and various tropical fruits. There's also a small hut imitating a traditional Seychellois kitchen. We really enjoyed our visit at the Praslin Museum! We could feed the fruit bats and learned a lot of interesting facts about the animals and all the different plants from our guide Hilka. We even got a nice fruit platter and drink. Definately worth a visit.

Amazing experience! We had such a wonderful time at the museum in Praslin. It was fascinating to see the fruit bats up close and learn so much about the local tropical life — from feeding the giant tortoises to discovering how cinnamon, vanilla, and coffee are grown and processed. We also learned about aloe vera, passion fruit, mango, papaya, and even the famous “takamaka” tree. Our guide, Hilka Esther, was incredibly energetic, knowledgeable, and full of positive vibes. The experience is definitely worth the entry fee. The host was very nice and showed us a lot of interesting things. We also received fresh juices, fruit platter and coconut. We had a very unique Seychellois experience, where we could immerse ourselves in local culture and biodiversity. The only less pleasant part was that we felt “pushed” to buy some products that are being sold at the museum.
