Plaza Independencia is a beautiful and lively place to spend some time in Mendoza. The park is filled with huge, mature trees that offer plenty of shade, and the sound of the water fountains adds a really peaceful vibe. In the center, there’s an underground museum that’s worth checking out. It feels totally safe, with families, couples, and friends relaxing on benches or shopping at the pop-up vendor booths.
