The National Art Gallery (Balai Seni Negara) in KL is a bit hit and miss. There are some really good works of art—probably not enough—alongside lots of pretty ordinary stuff. In the end, the good outweighs the bad. I enjoyed the visit but wish there was more cohesion and better curation; great works exist, just not necessarily in this gallery.

Quite small gallery, some seem to run through it in 30 min but others up to an hour. The installations seem to change every so often. When I was here there was basically 4 rooms/wings with content. The content itself was good and nice, there just wasn't that much of it.
