Fascinating religious and historical art in some beautiful architecture but quite chilly in most the interiors because of the large spaces in a very old building.

This wasn't a place I intended to visit whilst in Colmar but it turned out to be a great spot. Its extensive collection stretching back to the Roman times and going through the ages all the way to modern times, offers a nice glimpse into the history of the area. Besides giving a welcome respite from the crowds, it offered a few unique pieces that really capture ones attention and the hours just flew by. Highly recommended to all the history buffs!
