Wonderful, a nice little café super loud with all the insects but 100% part of the bizarre experience. Amenities all around. Locals are a bit gross as an old man decided to have a urinated against one of the trees.

A nice lil. Escape from the sun and cool down while travelling and exploring the city. Cafe has great choice of cold drinks and snacks. Trees and plants all labelled so had fun trying to pronounce the Latin names.

This garden is truly charming, even if it’s not particularly large. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in beauty and tranquility. It’s a serene place where you can take a leisurely stroll, sit quietly among the greenery, and listen to the soothing songs of birds all around. Whether you’re looking to relax, reflect, or simply enjoy a bit of nature, this peaceful spot is well worth a visit

Lovely park right in the heart of Rethymnon. Not a huge park but has mature trees and is equally enjoyed by the community and tourists. I visited in November but I would imagine it would be very popular in the summer months with people seeking shade. There is a stage for local concerts and a very nice cafe too. Children will enjoy this cyclist sculpture outside the play park.

The Municipal Park of Rethymno is a lovely green spot in the city, perfect for a relaxing walk or a break in nature. There’s a nice café in the center where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The park has great potential, but it could definitely benefit from a bit more gardening care and maintenance. Still, it remains a pleasant place to unwind and escape the busy streets.
