Magical place overflowing with history and mystique. The contrast between its Muslim original setting and the Catholic amalgamation at the center tells a centuries-long history of faith, culture and art that's just sublime. This is one of the most special places on Earth and by itself warrants visiting the lovely city of Cordoba. We loved every minute of our visit there. An audioguide (2 euro) is 100% recommended as it will definitely help make the most of the trip!

The Mosque of Córdoba is a living testament to the greatness of the Islamic era in Al-Andalus 🌙🕌 — a period that illuminated the world with knowledge, art, and justice, leaving an enduring legacy. In every arch and carving you can feel the spirit of a civilization that elevated beauty and learning, proving that Islam was a true cultural beacon. A visit that fills you with pride and inspiration

This Mosque Cathedral is absolutely stunning and was one of the most interesting places we visited in Spain. Originally built as a mosque in the 8th century and later converted into a cathedral, you can truly feel the layers of history as you walk through.
You could easily spend hours exploring. The seemingly endless rows of arches are mesmerizing, and the architectural details are incredible. The way light moves through the space and casts shadows across the arches is especially beautiful. Eve

This is one of the most interesting buildings I have ever visited in my years of traveling. Is not only incredibly well preserved and restored but also you can track the history of the building and the altar and coir are incredibly stunning. Buy the ticket in advance, and get a tour guide, you will loose too much of what's in front of your eyes without it. 10/10. Expect crowds and low temperatures inside the building in the winter. Enjoy the pics and videos.
