A most impressive statue that commemorates the army of the Andes. The monument stands tall upon Cerro de la Gloria with great details and a visualized story. The monument is adorned with different statues that are all impressive by themselves, arrange them together and it looks imposing and majestic against the clear blue skies of Mendoza.
The views and nature surrounding the Cerro are amazing. You feel at peace here and the people are very relaxed. It's a nice walk or if you love to run, this

You cash take the bus to the trailhead. It's a nice short hike uphill. Lots of breaks built into the hike. Beautiful scenery

5 min walk up the hill. From central park take bus 200 or 201. After your visit you can take a nice walk to the central park.

This is the worst statue and worst tourist attraction on Earth. It destroyed a one year relationship. It is NOT walkable from within the park, tourism industry lies. You need to take a cab, bus, or walk around the entire park to get to it unless you've pointlessly rented a car to otherwise explore a very walkable city. Wasted 4 hours because the map is a lie and caused a massive fight.
