Historic square with central grassed area, which is the former cricket ground. The buildings are quite old and some don't look particularly well maintained. During our visit the Sultan Abdul Samad building was being renovated and the clock tower covered in scaffolding - no traffic due to renovations. There is a huge flag pole, apparently one of the tallest in Malaysia.
