Been here many times. I feel safe but some parts of the trail feel sketchy, Overall a beautiful quiet place, most of the time rarely encounter other hikers or bikers, I recommend everyone to bring protection. And stay alert of your surroundings. During summer I always eat blackberries from the bushes along the trails.
