Welcome to capital of intricate woodwork, so detailed it makes modern architecture look lazy. Then there’s the Kumari, which kind of threw me, a literal living goddess chosen as a child, because Nepal does spirituality like nobody else. Oh, and there’s Shiva drinking alcohol in ceremonial rituals to prevent sickness. A lot of RCA dog moments. I’m here for my new cultural journey.
