This is a free to enter attraction although it is nice to donate to the upkeep of the cathedral. It wasn't as big as I was expecting but found the underneath part fascinating.

The cathedral has gone through many changes, surprisingly in the mid 1800s, where they took down 2 towers at the Naves entrance with the intention of building grander ones but never got round to doing it because of the expense.

Its survival through centuries makes walking through it an genuinely exciting experience. A magnificent place.

It's a truly unique experience to walk through such a historic place. Plus, it's free to enter, and you can get audio guides for a small fee to learn even more. The cathedral is really well-maintained, and it's a great visual experience. Highly recommend

Glasgow Cathedral is one of the iconic buildings to visit in Glasgow. Its breathtaking and majestic Gothic architecture is evident both inside and out. The intricate details of the cathedral reveal the rich history of this enduring structure.

The cathedral is free to enter, but donations are recommended for the restoration and maintenance of the building. Please note that the last entry is at 4:15 p.m., so you’ll need a full hour to explore everything inside. There’s also plenty of information
