A pleasent walk through the greenhouses. A wide array of plants to see and well maintained, clean grounds. I had such a nice experience that i will be going again in the summer. Also nice Chicago residents get in free.

Gorgeous and lush. Great break from the chicago winter. The coat rack (unattended, self service) is very helpful because its warm in there. Small, about 30-45min to walk through the entire space. Semi kid friendly, with one room specifically kid focused. An unfenced koi pond in the center of the fern room would be a concern for young toddlers. Great spot to get very close to the fish tho! Super fun to play where’s waldo with the hidden mini dinosaurs and dragons figures in the fern room as well.
