Old fort very close to the cruise ship terminal. Easy walk to downtown old town area in Ponta Delgada. Cost is only 3 euro, cash only. Good experience for those who like history.

We wandered around the fort looking at all the exhibits they were very interesting. Many were in English, but you were able to get the gist of it if it was not in English they have inside areas and outside areas to wander and I would definitely recommend this activity, especially if it’s raining
