Thanks to kuya John Steve for a fantastic tour through Fort Santa Isabel and a trip through history. The fort has a varied history stretching back to 1667. The construction of the fort using a mixture of stone and local coral leads to a unique look in a structure hundreds of years old even among other Spanish colonial forts for the time. The chapel on top of the fort is also well worth checking out. Overall a fantastic preservation of history and well worth the visit
